FRIDAY FEATURE VI

Now on to FFVI. Not, Final Fantasy VI, but our new thing, the Friday Feature FRIDAY FEATURE VI
So our next improvement is a suggestion from slave_to_anime
I paraphrase: The backwards system of contest entries. For a site that has a reasonably strong backend, having contest entries have to come in by email seems silly.
Your wish is GRANTED! *fairy sprinkles*
<s>it should be quite obvious what this is</s>
http://www.acparadise.com/acp/contests.php
ENTRY DEADLINE:December 23rd, 11:59 PM EST
http://www.acparadise.com/ace/contests.php?cid=23
Contest entries are now automatic, and you can update everything through a form. If your costume already exists on ACP, you can use "Use my existing costume". It will automatically pull your costume notes and thoughts from your profile. This means that it pulls your pictures off your profile for the contest (so make sure you sort your pictures first since your first picture on your profile will also be the first picture for the contest).
For Celestials, it will pull your first 5.
For standard users, it will pull your 3 pictures, and let you upload until you get to the 5.
Group entries will need to be coordinated via one representative. We no longer allow multiple user entries.
Both users will have a place to upload the reference picture.
When uploading pictures, upload the picture destined to be your thumbnail first! If you mess up and change your mind, delete until it becomes the first and add the rest afterwards.
You can edit your entry up until the contest, then it all goes live.

As an added inconvenience, people who currently entered by E-mail, will need to re-enter the contest using the web based form, k plz thx.

Feel free to play around with this option so you can get a feel for it, even if you don't have an AT2 entry yet, we'll delete non-AT2 entries by contest time.
Also if you find any bugs, as usual, report them here.

BTW, BONUS improvement suggested by furiousmice
A search option for usernames would be good! Sometimes I'm trying to locate specific cosplayers, and the only way I can do it is by searching for a costume they've done. It would be cool if I could just search for their name!
Your wish is GRANTED! *fairy sprinkles*
http://www.acparadise.com/ace/series.php
You can now search for cosplayers by nickname (if you're logged in), type it in the box below the cosplayer types. Type minimum of 3 letters, then wait :D
It will pull all cosplayer names from ACP&ACE.
